Four Corners
Four colonies in one nest, each with its own water.
- Size
- About 6 × 6 × 1⅜ in, two-part (top + base)
- Colonies
- 4 separate colonies, about 2¾ sq in each
- Ports
- 8 × AA-01 (a port and a vent per quadrant)

Four Corners holds four separate founding colonies in a single unit, about 6 × 6 × 1⅜ in. Each quadrant has the same layout, turned 90°: a hydration chamber over a water well, a queen chamber off it, two small chambers toward the outer corner, a port and a vent.
Each quadrant has its own lid and its own cotton cup beneath a printed-hole Hydration Insert. The four separate cups keep the water sources isolated, preventing mold from spreading between colonies. An open moat runs through the rim between quadrants, so a gap under any lid leads outside, never into a neighbor. A heat-cable loop around the outer ring gives every quadrant the same warm edge and humid center.
Four colonies, kept apart
From above. Each quadrant is a nest of its own.

The same chambers, four times
Each quadrant has the same layout, turned 90°: a hydration chamber, a queen chamber off it, and two small chambers toward the outer corner.
A water well each
Its own cotton cup under a printed-hole Hydration Insert. There's no shared reservoir, so mold in one colony's water can't reach another's.
Open moat between quadrants
It runs through the rim with double walls on either side, so a gap under any lid leads outside, never into a neighbor.
Four separate lids
One clear acrylic lid per quadrant, so you open one colony at a time.
A port and a vent, both AA-01
Two sockets per quadrant, so a colony can take a Link to a Scout and another to an outworld. Four Links come in the box.

Water for each quadrant
Taken apart. Each quadrant has its own cup of wet cotton under a floor printed with holes.

Four clear lids
Acrylic, one per quadrant. Lift one to feed or check a colony without disturbing the rest.
Four Hydration Inserts
Floors printed with holes, one over each water well. Moisture rises through them from the cotton below. Spares: the Hydration Insert.
The top
All four quadrants' chambers in one part, with each quadrant's sockets in its outside walls.
Four cotton cups
One under each well, wetted on its own. No shared reservoir, so one colony's water never reaches another.
The base
The second of the two parts. The top sits on it, over the four cups.
Every quadrant alike
Four colonies in the same conditions, so you can compare how they grow.

Same space
4 separate colonies, about 2¾ sq in each. The depth map shows the same chambers at the same depths in every quadrant.
Same warmth
Heat-cable loop around the outer ring. Every quadrant gets the same warm edge and humid center.
Same water
Four identical cotton cups, each wetted on its own. A clean Hydration Insert swaps into one quadrant without touching the others.
Link each quadrant your way
Each quadrant has its own two ports, so every colony can have its own setup.

A Scout on a Riser
The founding chamber, lifted to the quadrant's port height and joined to it with a Link.
One quadrant in use
The colony's nest, with its own lid and water.
A Frontier S
The outworld, on the same quadrant's other socket. Its Link comes in its box.
Three quadrants free
Room for three more colonies, each set up the same way when you have them.

A Scout on a Riser
For a colony that starts in a Scout. The Riser lifts the Scout's port to the quadrant's, and a Link joins them when the colony is ready to move up. Add the Scout in the setup below.
