Questions

Creator program FAQ

Is the creator program really free?

Yes. The program is completely free to creators: there is no fee and nothing to buy. Approved creators receive the American Ant products they are matched with at no cost.

Who gets approved?

Approval depends on product availability and how well your content matches the American Ant brand. Tell us what you make, who watches it and how you would show the nests. We ship within the United States, so you'll need a US shipping address.

Can I choose which formicaria I try?

Yes. Pick any of the Scout, Founder, Frontier, Homestead and Four Corners series on the form. What we send depends on availability, and we'll confirm it with you before anything ships.

Do you offer giveaways or affiliate partnerships?

In some cases we offer giveaways shipped directly to your fans, and possibly sales or affiliate arrangements for the right partner. These are discussed case by case and are not guaranteed.

Does American Ant send live ants?

No. American Ant does not sell live ants. Use your own colony, catch a local native queen where your state and local rules allow it, or buy from a seller that publishes its USDA permit.

How soon will I hear back?

We read every application and reach out within a few days by phone or email.
